Focus can step in with a needs assessment to identify and address relocation concerns
and issues that the individual may have. Candidates are reassured that should they
make the decision to move, they can rely on our practical help and support every
step of the way. Knowing that the stressful, time consuming aspects of relocation
will be taken care of simplifies the decision-making process for the candidate.

We also function as brand ambassadors, providing pertinent information on the brand
and company culture and norms.
We offer a comprehensive “Look ‘n See” tour for candidates pre- or post-signing. This is where we take the results of our extensive needs assessment research and translate it into concrete options and solutions. Depending on the client’s needs, we customise a program that includes tours of short-listed residential areas, viewings of sample properties, sightseeing and Cape Town highlights, and a trove of information about life, amenities and resources in Cape Town. We support and guide candidates from the moment they land, from the airport meet and greet to settling into accommodation.
Once a candidate signs the employment offer, we develop a transition plan, ensuring that all elements of the relocation have been addressed. We stay in constant contact with the client to refine the plan and ensure we are on track with regard to matching their lifestyle expectations, needs and wishes. We also feed information back to them on residential areas, properties to buy or rent, schools, leisure activities, local resources and any other information that is required.
When the employee and his/her family arrive at the airport, we will be there to greet them and assist with luggage and car hire arrangements, and escort them to their accommodation. We will pre-check the accommodation to ensure that everything is clean, neat and functional. A welcome hamper is provided for them on arrival. Once settled, we arrange a full Cape Town orientation tour and ensure your candidate and their family is fully supported on a personal level while finding their feet in our city.
We stay in touch with the employee and his family to assist with acclimation through practical assistance, counselling and advice.
